A 1kg standard weight was used for the drop test. The video plays at 12.5% of real-time speed. Tough Pro PLA+ has higher impact strength than ABS and Standard PLA+ with a heat resistance that rivals that of ABS. That's even before any post-processing. You can gain the maximum heat resistance by annealing your 3D print (furthest print from camera), but that's not always practical or feasible to do, especially as the part shrinks 1-2% during the annealing process and needs to be tightly constrained in a gypsum or salt flour to reduce warping. But, even without annealing, you can see that the Tough Pro PLA+ part resists heat much better than the Standard PLA+ (nearest to the camera). In some ways, in this test, the Tough Pro PLA+ part (middle part) is partially annealing in the temperature ramp-up.
